Out-of-District Students Bring Diversity to Albany

There has been much fear and confusion lately over the Albany Unified School District's policy of admitting out-of-district students to increase both diversity and enrollment. Like many others in these pages, I'm on the side of fear and confusion.

Some students claim that out-of-district students are generally indistinguishable from the rest of the student body. As this illustration demonstrates, I beg to differ!
