Thank You Little Star Pizza from the Albany Education Foundation
This 'First Monday' event assists the Albany Education Foundation each month. So far, the Education Foundation has received $9,500 from Little Star Pizza.
For the past two years on the first Monday of each month, supporters of the Albany Schools have gathered at Little Star Pizza to enjoy pizza, wings, beverages and more. Owner Jon Guhl has generously donated 10 percent of the proceeds to the Albany Education Foundation. To date, AEF has received over $9,500. THANK YOU JON AND LITTLE STAR PIZZA.
Last Thursday, members of the AEF board joined Jon for lunch (at Little Star, of course) to formally thank him for his generosity.
Monday, Oct. 1, is the next first Monday so be sure to come by for pizza and to thank Jon for his kindness. Lunch and take-out also count. Little Star is open from noon to 10 p.m. Their pizzas (and wings) are terrific and your children benefit through AEF. Little Star Pizza is located at 1175 Solano Ave. 510-526–7827.
