All proceeds raised during the concert will go toward the Dr. Richard Cushman Organ Scholarship Program.
In honor of Richard's second heavenly birthday, we're holding a free benefit concert featuring the students in the scholarship program. Our program, which pays tribute to his legacy, will begin with a pre-concert reception and birthday cake.
The concert will feature a number of his former organ students, as well as current participants in the organ scholarship program founded in his honor, including Arthur Omura, Eileen Chen, Judah Lampkin, and a few special guests!
Dr. Richard Cushman, who died in late December following a tragic accident, was a gifted organist and musician, a beloved teacher, mentor, and friend, as well as a noted scholar of literature.
