Coastal Cleanup Day in Albany on Sat, Sep 20

Take part Coastal Cleanup Day, the largest volunteer event in the world! Coastal Cleanup Day is a great way for families, students, service groups, and neighbors to join together, take care of our fragile marine environment, show community support for our shared natural resources, learn about the impacts of marine debris and how we can prevent them…and to have fun!

In Albany, we will be cleaning up litter around the Albany Bulb, next to Golden Gate Fields end of Buchanan Street, from 9AM-noon. All cleanup supplies are provided – bag or bucket, gloves, data card, pencil, etc. However, we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable bucket and/or gloves.
