COMMUTER ALERT: Warriors and A's Games May Make for Heavy Commute
Fans will be packing BART and I-880 trying to get to the games at the same time commuters are heading home from work.

Oakland sports fans will be busy this evening as the Golden State Warriors kick off the NBA Western Conference Finals next door to an Oakland A's home game.
Game 1 of the Warriors' series against the Oklahoma City Thunder starts at 6 p.m. at Oracle Arena.

The A's have only won three of their last 10 games and only five of their home games this season, falling to fourth place in the American League West.
Regardless, the two simultaneous events will likely draw large crowds to neighboring Oracle Arena and Oakland Coliseum, clogging traffic on Interstate Highway 880 and packing BART trains. Game 2 of the Warriors' series will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
The A's will wrap up the series with the Rangers that day, but their game will start at 12:35 p.m. and should be over well before the Warriors game.
