Education Job Fair to Feature 200 Open Positions

The Alameda County Office of Education is hosting a job fair this Wednesday featuring 200 open positions at county schools and offices — including positions with the Albany Unified School District.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the ACOE building, located at 313 W. Winton Ave. in Hayward.

Positions are available in teaching, school administration, counseling, therapy, information technology and more.

Ohter employers include the Fremont, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward and Oakland school districts, among others. Various charter schools and other education institutions, such as the Eden Area One Stop Career Center, Alliant International University and Sylvan Learning, will also be present.

Attendees will be able to get their resumes reviewed, as well as receive interview tips from human resources experts and attend workshops on professional development.

Job seekers are advised to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress professionally.
