Dec. 3: AEF Wraps for Albany Schools

The  encourages you to shop at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, Dec. 3, to benefit the Albany schools libraries. 

There are two different ways to help the schools during this event at the El Cerrito Plaza store. Mention the Albany Education Foundation when you are purchasing your materials, and Barnes & Noble will donate 20 percent of the proceeds to the foundation, or you can make a selection from a school site's wish list and purchase a needed book.

Friendly foundation volunteers will be available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to gift wrap your purchases.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the entire community to support the Albany schools. If you are interested in helping gift wrap, please email Marsha Skinner or call 510-526–1154.

Books and music make wonderful holiday gifts and this is an opportunity to help Albany schools as an additional bonus.  Remember to tell the cashier that your purchase is to benefit the Albany Education Foundation.
