This next will focus on traditional or "lost" skills.
Have you ever been to one of Albany's free Skill Sharing Workshops? Not sure what they are?
The Skill Share Workshops are an afternoon at the Albany Community Center where you can choose to go to one of several, short (hour and 20 minutes) workshops to learn a little about something from someone in our community who knows a little about the topic and is willing to share. They're very casual, friendly and fun. They're also an easy and free way to get started in something that might interest or be useful to you and your family.
The topics for this time are listed below (this month's Skill Share is focused on traditional skills) but so far some of your neighbors have enjoyed learning about bike maintenance, stress reduction, resume writing, terrarium making, pickling, jewelry making, cheese making, and more. Join us!

Backyard Chickens
