This Friday the elite Albany Middle School Jazz Band will be traveling to Northgate High School in Walnut Creek to participate in the 2012 CMEA (California Music Educator's) Jazz East Festival. This is an annual event for the jazz band and provides an opportunity for the Jazz Band to perform for and listen to their peers from other schools around the bay area and to clinic with and get comments from professional Jazz Musicians from around the state. The AMS performance begins at 8:00pm and concludes with a sight reading clinic at 8:25. The event is open to the public and we would welcome any support that we can get.
