Make your own beats and songs
Teen ages 10-17
Want to learn how to make your own beats and songs, studio quality recordings and/or learn to perform beats live? This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of beatmaking and production, making use of industry standard software (FL Studio and midi controllers) as well as hardware (Akai MPC’s)and teach sampling from vinyl and digital forms of music, as well as synthesizer based pieces to enable students to create original compositions. No previous experience is or musical training required.
