Get prepared & help your neighborhood be stronger, safer & more resilient by participating in a CERT training.
CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) provides you with the knowledge & practical skills to respond quickly & effectively and help your neighbors immediately following a disaster. It’s likely that police & fire will not be able to arrive quickly in a real disaster, and you will need to know how to:
- turn off your utilities
- extinguish small fires
- administer first aid & disaster medicine relief
- conduct light search & rescue
- generally help organize your neighbors
