Cinematheque 123: Fingers (1978)

Come watch what is perhaps the weirdest Harvey Keitel film ever about a dysfunctional young man who is pulled between loyalties to his Italian mob-connected loan shark father and his mentally disturbed Jewish concert pianist mother. The film became the basis for one of the greatest remakes in film history a full 27 years later.

The former is being screened at Local 123 at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17; the latter is being screened next week to kick off Cinematheque 123's new series: The Frenchies' Guide to Midlife Crises.

Come see both of them and have your mind blown... all while drinking local beers and wines.
