"Lawd, you made the night too long." - Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Guy Lombardo, etc.
It's the time of year when the days are over before you know it, and dinner is served in the dark. Time for a shot of musical Vitamin D! Bring a song about the light in someone's eyes, the boys of summer, or setting the woods on fire to our next HOOT! and we guarantee you'll leave walking on sunshine! Remember - the darkest hour is right before the Tony Orlando and Dawn (and that may or may not be a request), so come adjust your mood at January's HOOT!

The Rules.
- Cover songs only! (And covering your Aunt Tillie doesn't count).*
- 1 to 2 songs per performer.
- Quick set-up. Small amps are okay, but HOOT! is essentially unplugged.
- A piano will be available. Apart from that, bring your own ukelele.
- No "sing and scram." Every performer deserves an audience, and HOOT! is designed to be a group effort.
- You may perform solo, duo, small group, a capella, instrumental - however you see fit.
- $3 (or what you can afford) in the hat for all attendees - performing and non.
* Original songs are occasionally permitted, but must be credited in performance to Paul Anka.
