2011 Lunar New Year with the Solano Avenue Association

Sunday, you can ring in the new, Chinese-style, with a grande fête put on by the .

Performances begin at 10 a.m. at the Albany Twin Theater, and will include acrobatics by members of the SF Circus; a Lion Dance and martial arts by Golden Lion; Chinese dance by Ah-Lan Dance; Chinese instrumental performances by members of the Wind Chinese Music Academy; songs by the Cornell and Ocean View schools Chinese Afternoon Program; and, of course, delicious Asian food.

Admission is free. 

At noon, there will be a parade down Solano.
