Michael Horse, Zuni/Yaqui/Mescalero Apache, is an award-winning artist, jeweler and actor, best known for his role as "Deputy Hawk" in the television series "Twin Peaks". His paintings are a type of Native American folk art called "Ledger Paintings", which he paints on original documents from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. He began his artistic career making jewelry and has won many awards in all of his artistic endeavors.
