The Recreation & Community Services Department is hosting a planting event at the Castro Street Steps.
This project also is sponsored by Albany Community Foundation and the neighbors around the Castro Street Steps. We missed the earlier event due to heavy rains, so there will be lots of cleaning up and planting and mulching on a fairly steep slope. Dress accordingly. Meet at the base of the steps at Castro and Jackson. We will have lunch for you at noon.
