Racetrack Developers Unveil New Lab Design

Please Note: Presentations will be made twice, at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., in the Turf Club (upstairs), Golden Gate Fields.

In recent months the design team for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory at Golden Gate Fields conducted a series of presentations, open houses, and outreach forums to share our draft plan for a second LBNL campus.

We are excited by the community's interest in this dynamic plan for the site. Many have offered thoughts about how the project might better reflect the community's values and vision.

Your comments are extremely helpful and we appreciate the feedback. In response, we have prepared an improved plan embracing your concerns and suggestions.

We invite you to a presentation of the revised plan that significantly increases open space, lowers the heights on most buildings, and provides greater access to Fleming Point and the Bay.

We need your ideas as we continue to refine the design. This is a work-in-progress.
