Election season is heating up, and St. Alban's Episcopal Church and Albany Patch are proud to announce two free forums in October to help local residents get to know the candidates.
The forum for school board candidates comes Oct. 10, followed on Oct. 17 by the forum for City Council candidates. All candidates have confirmed their attendance.
Both forums take place at 7 p.m. at St. Alban's, 1501 Washington Ave., in the Parish Hall. Albany Patch editor Emilie Raguso will moderate.

The church will provide coffee, tea and light refreshments.
In addition to the questions already submitted online, there will be an opportunity for attendees to write out questions for the moderator to share at the event itself, and time for informal follow-up.
