Professor and nuclear medicine expert Jerold Lowenstein's "Dark X: A Medical Mystery" uses his real life experiences studying bonobos with his wife, primatologist Adrienne Zihlman, to create a mysterious and adventurous story. Dr. Lowenstein is chairman of nuclear medicine at California Pacific Medical Center and clinical professor of medicine and pharmacy at UCSF and will be signing his book.
