In this workshop you will: learn about the importance of water conservation, various types of rain harvesting systems, storage options, sizing systems and irrigation methods. Install a rain barrel system at a private residence. Outfit and take home your own rain barrel from a repurposed 55-gallon drum. Costs are subsidized thanks to a generous grant from the Fairy Godmothers. Cost: Workshop $15-50 (sliding scale), If you want a rain barrel, you can buy one for $50-60 (sliding scale) or you can bring your own.
