In The Stories that Shape Us: Contemporary Women Write about the West, women of various ethnicities write vividly about their experiences on the West Coast. Edited by Teresa Jordan and James Hepworth, this anthology was published in 1995 by W.W. Norton & Co. It can be found online or in used bookstores.

Both women and men, ages 50+,  are welcome.
