There will be no parking on one block of Solano Avenue, between Adams Street and San Pablo Avenue, Wednesday from 1:30-8 p.m. to make room for the , which opens today at 3 p.m.  Solano will be closed weekly on Wednesdays for the event, in addition to set-up and clean-up times. Some members of the public have expressed concern about resulting traffic problems. Officials say there will be plenty of  staff on hand to help if problems arise. There will be signs throughout the area alerting drivers that they will not be able to turn on that block of Solano.  See the attached graphic for more detail. Note, the map has been rotated clockwise; San Pablo appears horizontally, and Solano appears vertically.
