Former Albany Man Sentenced for Child Porn

Konrad Wolff possessed disturbing photos and videos. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and UC Berkeley Police.

Former Albany resident Konrad Wolff was sentenced to 108 months in prison for receipt of child pornography, United States Attorney Brian J. Stretch announced Thursday.

The sentence was handed down by District Judge James Donato.

Wolff, 28, was arrested early last year at Ft. Benning, GA. He was convicted of receiving thousands of images and hundreds of videos of child pornography.

The videos and images showed minor and prepubescent children engaged in sexually explicit and sadomasochistic conduct. Wolff was also in possession of manuals which provided step-by-step instructions on how to sexually exploit children while avoiding detection by law enforcement.

Following his prison term, Wolff must serve a 15-year supervised release and he must pay restitution.

The prosecution is the result of a three-month investigation by the FBI and the University of California Berkeley Police Department.
