Free Ping Pong for All Through July on San Pablo

One of San Pablo Avenue's newest businesses welcomes the community to play free through July.

Albany's , ITT, is offering adults and youth the chance to play for free through the end of the month.

The new studio is open to the public through July when regularly scheduled classes are not in session.

Property owner Benny Fong said Monday that he so his sons, who attend Cornell Elementary and Albany Middle School, could have more access to practice.

Fong said the business has been open for a little over a week.

Albany Patch will circle back next week with Fong, and business owner and coach Shen Hailong, to learn more about one of the newest spots on the avenue. But we just wanted to help spread the word, before July runs out, about this new community resource.

(As a sidenote, Fong mentioned that Shen Hailong's student, Ariel Hsing, will compete in the 2012 London Olymics.)

ITT is open from roughly 4:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The club is located at 533 San Pablo Ave.
