ALBANY, CA — Moms and Dads....we're halfway through April, have you locked in your kids' summer plans while you're at work?

Yep, juggling summer schedules is enough to cause a toddler-sized meltdown in most adults.

Albany's Recreation and Community Services Department is making it easy for you. On Sunday, April 22, they're holding a Summer Camp Expo at the Albany Community Center. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They promise to have demonstrations, so you can see if a camp is a good fit for your child. And if you like discounts, you're in luck. Summer Camps booked that day are 10 percent off. Sign up for the free raffle!

There are sports camps available, digital arts, engineering, cooking, art & music, plus specialty camps on everything from carpentry to cartooning.

So get out your calendar and block out your vacations and visits from relatives. Read the camp descriptions in the 2018 Summer Activity Guide, then head to the Community Center on the 22nd to take advantage of the discounts!
