Fit-Lite at the top of Solano is a circuit gym (part of the 24 Hour Fitness empire) that has always been wonderfully devoid of sweating, grunting roid-sters. But it was never a center of muscular prose until Mike, one of the staff, began to chalk the floors with literary observations and aphorisms to take in between reps. There's also a poetry sharing box.
It takes about 30 minutes for a full circuit including warm-up, and during that time you should be able to come up with at least a haiku. Mike says he started the campaign because "the brain needs exercise too."
