MySchoolBucks Offer Convenience, But Come With Transaction Fees

The district has outlined fees for this school year.

ALBANY, CA — MySchoolBucks from Albany Unified School District offer convenience and security, but parents should be aware that they come with transaction fees.

You can sign up for an account at MySchoolbucks. They can be used to pay for school meals, tuition and PE uniforms.

For the 2016-17 school year, the transaction fees will be as follows:
· School Meals - $2.00 per deposit (credit card/eCheck) “Pay as you go”
· Store Items – No fees
· Preschool/after care fees (listed as tuition on website) - 3.95% (credit card only) “Pay as you go”
· Preschool/after care fees (listed as tuition on website) - $1.35 (eCheck only) “Pay as you go”

You may also enroll in OnePay. The membership program allows you to make electronic check payments for
12 months with no additional fees. Choose from one of two plans:
· Individual Student Plan - $12.95 per student
· Family Plan - $26.95 for all students
