Nominations Due This Week For Women's Hall of Fame
The Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for accomplished women from multiple walks of life.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — The deadline is Thursday to nominate a woman for the Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame, county officials said. Those honored will be celebrated at the annual Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on March 30 at Ascension Cathedral in Oakland.
Residents can submit a nomination or learn more about nominating someone and the hall of fame online.
The event is in its 26th year and more than 200 women have been inducted into the hall.
