Ocean View Community Organic Garden has open plots for year round gardening
Community Garden plots available to Albany residents

Interested in growing your own food but live in an Albany apartment/condo or a house with a small yard? Come join us at the beautiful Ocean View Community Organic Garden, in Ocean View Park and behind the Ocean View School in Albany.
We have a variety of plots available equipped with drip irrigation that conserves water and grows incredibly healthy, vigorous plants. For $60/ year --- $5 a month for a place to grow fresh organic vegetables and herbs. What are you waiting for?!
But it’s winter you say? Fortunately, we live in a microclimate where we can garden year round and enjoy things grown deep into the coldest months. For example, massaged kale salad, roasted beets with citrus, cauliflower soup, arugula, spinach, and red leaf lettuce salads, stir fried sugar snap peas, and red cabbage slaw all source in the winter from the Ocean View Community Organic Garden.
