On North Coast Section Championship Saturday, February 29, two of three Saint Mary’s teams captured section titles! Congratulations to both Saint Mary’s Men’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball for bringing home the section banner and plaque to Peralta Park. The men came away with an impressive 5-2 upset victory over Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa while the women beat Saint Patrick-Saint Vincent of Vallejo for the third time this year by a score of 60-49. Congratulations, also, to the Men’s Basketball team that led # 1 seed Piedmont for over half the game before finally losing 77-67. What an outstanding winter season here at Saint Mary’s.
