Phone Scam: Alameda County Sheriff's Office Issues Warning
The scammers are trying to get your personal information and your money.

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has issued a warning that residents have reported receiving phone calls from people impersonating Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies.
The callers ask residents to pay a fine and provide personal information.
If you receive a call like this do not provide information and call the Sheriff's dispatch center at 510 667-7721.

The exception is Alameda County Central Collections, which collects court fines and fees. Those calls come from: (510) 208-9900.
