And the first day of school means "welcome back to all" in Albany.
School kids around Albany met up Tuesday to register, hang out, learn about their teachers and compare schedules. Albany Patch visited sites around the city to see how they fared. This morning, there will be parent coffee events at Albany High (7:45 a.m., Little Theater Lobby) and Albany Middle (8:15 a.m., library) schools, as well as at Marin Elementary.
