Power Restored to Thousands in Albany, Berkeley
Residents were without electricity for about two hours Thursday evening.

ALBANY, CA — Power has been restored for about 3,000 PG&E customers in Albany and Berkeley.
The power went out just after 6:30 p.m. and was fixed about two hours later. The utility did not specify what went wrong.
The outage made the long evening commute even longer as traffic signals were out, including a stretch of San Pablo Avenue.
