Saint Mary's Arts Take Center Stage

Art Show, Annual Musical, Marvel Comics, and More

Check out the Saint Mary’s High student art show on display now through February at Espresso Roma Cafe on Hopkins Street in Berkeley (photo: 2014 SM Roma Art Show). Seven student artists are featured at the now-annual show. Stop in and take a look and support Cafe Roma by treating yourself or a friend. Student art will also be featured at the Silent Auction at the school’s annual Crab Feed on campus on February 6. Gorgeous bowls and platters made by students (see photo) will be up for auction at the fundraiser. Saint Mary’s Performing Arts Department will proudly present the musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on two weekends in February. Mark your calendars now: February 13 at 7:00 p.m., February 14 at 2:00 p.m., and February 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m., and February 21 at 2:00 p.m. Class of 2003 alumnus Ryan Coogler is back in the news, following his hit films ”Creed” and ”Fruitvale Station.” Coogler will direct Marvel Comics’ “Black Panther,” in theaters February 16, 2018! The Saint Mary’s Panthers Community extends congratulations to Ryan!
