Saint Mary's Music, Open House, and More
Join the Saint Mary's High community for special events during November, including two Fall Music Concerts and the annual Open House.

Saint Mary’s College High School will hold its annual Admissions Open House from one to three o’clock on Sunday, November 23 on the school campus. Meet the faculty, students, coaches, tour the school, and more. Specially designed for families of students now in grades six, seven, and eight, the Open House is one of many opportunities to learn about Saint Mary’s. Two Fall music concerts will take place in the school auditorium this week. The first, at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, will feature the Chorus, Chamber Choir, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble (fresh from their joint October concert with the Saint Mary’s College Jazz Band). The Friday 7:00 p.m. concert will highlight the Intermediate Band and Advanced Symphonic Band. Admission to each concert is free.
Congratulations to the Panther’s Varsity Girls Tennis Team for their TCAL league title and 15-1 league record and overall record of 19-2! They travel to Fortuna on November 11 for their first-ever North Coast Section playoffs. The three senior team members pictured were celebrated with thank you cards, roses, and tiaras at Senior Day during their final match of the season at Saint Mary’s home court at Memorial Park in Albany on October 30.

Prayers and thanks to all our Veterans on Veterans Day. In November 2010, Saint Mary’s dedicated it own Alumni Veterans Memorial on the campus.
On Friday, November 7, the school community, invited guests, and honored donors gathered for a noontime ceremony to dedicate “Brennan Hall,” the school’s fully-renovated 1952/1959 grammar school building, to Brother David Brennan, FSC, teacher and administrator at Saint Mary’s High from 1971-1979, CEO and President of Christian Brothers Winery in the 1980s, and Provincial of the De La Salle Christian Brothers’ Western Province from 1995-2003.
