Sugar's Side Effects
Although sugar tastes darn good, there are some "side effects" of over consuming sugar. According to the Journal of American Medical Association there is an association (not causation) between eating high amounts of sugar and higher cholesterol levels and diabetes. Weight gain is an obvious outcome of too much sugar. Some people say that sugar consumption can contribute to energy spikes and dips throughout the day, as well as a general feeling of fatigue, lethargy, depression or anxiety.Stay posted for recipes, ideas and updates as we go through the 21-day sugar detox.
