Stolen Car Recovered, Burglary Suspects Arrested In Emeryville
A property manager spotted the suspects on surveillance video and called police.

EMERYVILLE, CA — Emeryville police arrested two suspects who burglarized a property Monday night.
At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residential complex in the 3900 block of Adeline Street. The on-site property manager there saw the suspects on a surveillance camera inside the complex and alerted police.
When officers arrived, the two male suspects fled and led officers on a short foot pursuit, police said.

The officers soon caught the suspects, who were in possession of burglary tools. Inside one of their pockets, officers found a Honda key that matched a stolen vehicle parked on Adeline Street, across from the property
they allegedly burglarized, police said.
According to police, the suspects were identified as the same suspects from burglaries that occurred over the weekend at the same location.

Officers arrested them on suspicion of several counts of burglary, possessing burglary tools and possessing a stolen vehicle.
Officers arrested Emeryville residents David Chavez, 19, and Samuel Morales, 28, on suspicion of several counts of burglary, possessing burglary tools and possessing a stolen vehicle.
The case remains under investigation.
