Suspect Arrested For Firing Gun On Berkeley Street

BERKELEY, CA — A male suspect was arrested Sunday in Berkeley on suspicion of firing multiple gunshots into the air early Sunday morning on Telegraph Avenue, police said.
Officers responded at 1:44 a.m. to the avenue where there had been reports of a disturbance outside the restaurant Fat Slice Pizza at 2375 Telegraph Ave.
When officers arrived, about 150 people had gathered when someone fired shots in the air, police spokeswoman Lt. Alyson Hart said.
