Teen Says She Was Stalked Near University Housing

She was walking with her four-year-old sibling at the time. UC Police were notified. (Breaking)

ALBANY, CA — A 17-year-old girl reported being stalked while walking near University of California at Berkeley student housing in Albany on Saturday, campus police said.

The girl was walking with her 4-year-old sibling at about 3 p.m. near University Village Albany, police said.
She noticed a new black truck driving nearby and recognized the driver from two previous encounters, one of which was reported to Albany police.

The suspect appeared surprised and angry to see the girl, but continued to drive around the area and past her, police said.

The girl walked to the UVA Community Center and called campus police, who were unable to locate the suspect.

The man is described as being Hispanic or Asian, in his 40s, with a short, crew cut-style haircut, small eyes, a round face and a heavy or muscular build. He was wearing a brown shirt.
