When Does School Start In Albany, 2018 - 2019 School Year

ALBANY, CA — The first day of school in Albany is August 14 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Albany Unified School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 10/12: No School (Staff Development)

• 11/21-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/24-1/4: No School (Winter Break)

• 1/1-1/4: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/19-2/22: No School (Mid Winter Break)

March

• 3/15: No School (Staff Development)

April

• 4/8-4/12: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/14: Last Day of School
