Occupation: Student of art history at Penn State University

What brings you to Albany? My sister lives here in Albany; my nephew goes to Marin. I'm visiting, along with Ricki, my dog – he's a boy.

Does the hot weather today bother him? He has problems [with it]; he has to rest often. Under the BART there is shade; that's why we walk here.

How old is he? He's 9 years old.

Does he know any tricks? No, he's just very intelligent. He just knows how to live with humans; that's his trick. He's a very human-oriented dog.

How is Ricki as a traveling companion? He loves traveling. Whenever he sees the car [door] open, he goes [to it].

What brought you to the U.S. from Bulgaria? The program – I came to the U.S. for the art history program.

Would you like to add anything? I just wanted to say that in Albany it is lovely that you let your dog off the leash. I see lots of dogs; they are playing and having a good time. Off-leash time and playtime are a true vacation for [Ricki].
