VFW Hall

If You Love Martinez, This Is Your Party Friends Fest is a bit different. Our gathering welcomes people who know—or want to know—what’s happening in our town. People who want to connect with a community that creates, defends and imagines something better.
You’ll enjoy an afternoon that includes good food and drink (including beer and wine), live music, a unique auction, interesting people and much more. Bring your friends—it’s the most important part of our name.
We have a lot in store for you—join us October 4th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 930 Ward Street in downtown Martinez.

The Saklan School

At The Saklan School, we believe students learn best when they are known, challenged, and genuinely engaged in their learning. Our small-school environment and Project Based Learning approach create a learning experience that develops the whole child: academically, socially, and personally. We invite you to join us for our Preschool - 8th Grade Open House. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our campus, meet our faculty, learn about Project Based Learning, and see how students are challenged, supported, and known as individuals. Whether you’re just beginning your school search or already considering Saklan, we’d love to welcome you to campus.
RSVP today at www.saklan.org/openhouse!
