Local Charity: Blaze Sports America Needs Your Votes!
Blaze Sports America has been announced, as one of the top four finalists in the Sheckler Foundation's "Be the Change" initiative

Blaze Sports America helps enhance the lives of children living with physical disabilities by using sports as a platform. These young athletes live with physical disabilities that include: cerebral palsy, spina bifida, limb amputations, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries among others. Blaze Sports America has been selected as one of four finalists for The Sheckler Foundation’s “Be the Change” initiative. With your vote, Blaze Sports America has the opportunity to receive unwavering support from the foundation and its community along with $10,000. This would allow Blaze Sports America to continue enhancing the lives of children living with physical disabilities.

Ryan Sheckler’s “Be the Change” initiative was created to help injured action sports athletes and kids in need. From the submissions made to “Be the Change”, four lucky finalists have been chosen and placed on the Sheckler Foundation’s site to raise greater awareness to their cause. The one that receives the most votes by Monday, February 23, 2015 will receive support from the Sheckler Foundation which includes funding up to $10,000 to make their project a reality. Having helped numerous different causes and individuals over the years, the Sheckler Foundation is on a mission to empower people to “Be the Change.”
