Altadena Urban Farmer's Market Gets Permit for May 29 Event
Market organizers had had to cancel the April event after being cited for not having a county permit.

The Altadena Urban Farmers' Market, which was , is now back on for May 29, according to the Facebook page of its organizers.
The market was started in October by Gloria Putnam and Steve Rudicel, local food enthusiasts who have at their Altadena home.
The market features home grown produce, baked goods, and home made goods from vendors in Altadena and the surrounding area.

Rudicel and Putnam were visited by a county enforcement team after they had heard of the event, and were told they would need to apply for a permit.
The market is generally held on the third Sunday of every month from 1 to 5 p.m, though this month the date is May 29, the last Sunday of the month.
