Bike Project, Street Lighting on Town Council Agenda

The agenda for Tuesday's Altadena Town Council meeting has a few key items this week.

The Altadena Town Council will hear an update on the county's master bike plan this week, and will also discuss the legally-required county general plan for Altadena, as well as a presentation on street lighting projects.

As , the county's bike plan will be on the County Regional Planning Commission's agenda on Wednesday, and will include a 'bike boulevard' project through Altadena, as well as a dedicated bike path that will start just outside Eaton Canyon.

The general plan is a regularly-updated plan that cities are required to have to give a direction on density, housing, and other planning issues.  The county's planning director, Richard Bruckner, who had a last October, will be addressing the Town Council on the subject.

The council will also hear a presentation on a street lighting improvement project.
