County to Vote on Altadena Parking Ordinance
The ordinance would bar large commercial vehicles and trailers from parking on Altadena streets.

The county will vote on an Altadena parking ordinance that would ban parking large commercial vehicles and trailers on Altadena streets.
The ban would apply to all vehicles that measure either eight feet in width, seven and a half feet in height, or 20 feet in length, according to a release from the Department of Public Works.

Though the larger vehicles are already been banned in residential zones, according to Town Council member Gino Sund, the problem has been that owners of those vehicles have been able to legally park the vehicles in commercial areas indefinitely. This ordinance would change that.
The County Board of Supervisors will hear the issue at their October 25 meeting.
