Final County Redistricting Hearing At Today's Board of Supervisors Meeting
The hearing will be at 11 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors hearing room at 500 West Temple Street in downtown Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will either agree on a redistricting plan to redraw the county's electoral boundaries or pass the responsibility to a committee made up of officials from the Sheriff's Department, Assessor's Office and District Attorney's office

If any of the three plans are chosen on Tuesday, Altadena will remain in the 5th Supervisor District. There is no certainty about what would happen if the board does not come to an agreement.
That would require four out of the five county supervisors to agree on one plan. That may be hard to manage considering that a 10-member commission that was hand-picked by the board, with each supervisor appointing two members, split their vote 6-4, with each side showing staunch opposition to the other side's plan.
Those who will not be able to attend in person can view the meeting here on the county's website.
