Michele Bachmann to Appear in Pasadena on Wednesday

The Minnesota congresswoman and GOP presidential candidate will address the local branch of the Tea Party on Wednesday evening.

Minnesota congresswoman and Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann will be speaking at an event organized by the local branch of the Tea Party on Wednesday.

Bachmann, who appeared Tuesday night at a GOP debate in Las Vegas, responded to an invitation from the group that has also been extended to every other GOP contender, according to Tamara Colbert, a member of the Pasadena Patriots.

Colbert, who is an Altadena resident and the wife of former local congressional candidate John Colbert, noted in a press release that while members of the public are invited to the event, space is limited.  Interested parties can RSVP at (626)-792-1772.  The event will be held at the Castle Green Hotel at 50 E. Green Street in Pasadena from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
