Parent and Child Workshop at Altadena Library
The five-week program allows parents of young children a place to play with their child, address parenting concerns and have questions answered.
The will host a five week parenting workshop starting on Sept. 27, and has spots for up to 25 children.
The workshops will cover parenting topics will giving children a place to play and features toys, crafts and books.
There is no cost for the workshop, and parents can register by contacting the library's Children’s Services Department at 626-798-0833.

The program is part of a statewide parenting intitative called Family Place Program, and Altadena Library began participating in it last Spring, after the library received a state grant to improve its childrens' area and institute the program.
