Local listeners can stream the shows for free anytime and, if they wish, support the Altadena-based nonprofit's mission to showcase short, thought-provoking plays from writers around the world.
   

• 'It's like a family': The Boulevard, known as Pasadena's only gay bar, is set to close (pasadenastarnews.com) — Pasadena's longtime LGBTQ+ gathering spot The Boulevard Bar will close on Halloween, and its owner says recent disasters in nearby Altadena, including the Eaton Fire, hurt business as many Altadena regulars moved away. The bar has been a rare safe space for queer residents from Pasadena, Altadena, and the wider San Gabriel Valley, and locals now hope a new owner might step in to keep it alive.
